Surveys clearly show: guests want to be informed.

Information is important for guests. They want to know where the food they consume comes from and how it is produced (82% strong or medium agreement).

 

In addition, tourists also want to be informed before they even start their vacation. About 74% of package travelers are convinced that travel providers should provide detailed information about the food and beverage offerings in the destination even before they start their vacation.

 

Around 91% of tourists agree that hotels with sustainable food offerings should be labeled accordingly in travel catalogs and online portals.

 

From these results, it can be concluded that sustainable food offerings can have an impact on tourists’ booking behavior.
